Tour of February Handicap winner. Due to photographer malfunction we didn't get a full podium photo so here is a file photo of our winner, Rob S.

The Tour of February Handicap Training Exercise was held as the final stage of the tour.

First up the Handicap Training Exercise.

Here is the starting grid.

0:00 Ken E, Bob E and Ian - Limit Launchers

3:00 Glenn, Rob S, Tom and Phil -  Group de Governor

4:00  Rob H, Jeff, Paul K, Seb and Tony -  Sherlock's Sprint Squad

4:40  Chris, Dave P, Frank, Eddie and Dave J -  Scratch Sufferers

Ian and Ken E were both in the hunt for 2nd place in Div 2. This meant a very hot early pace that Bob couldn't hold on the hill. The Group de Governor took several laps to mow down the massive gap but got the job done as they progresses towards a famous victory.

Meanwhile Sherlock had his sprinters moving along quickly as they tried desperately to close down the gigantic gap to Group de Governor and the Limit Launchers. It wasn't until less than one lap to go that the Super Mega Group was formed with nearly all riders from the three groups present.

Scratch were smooth from the start but just not fast enough today to close down the mammoth gap to the Super Mega Group. Dave P had a solid crack but found the pace a bit too much and dropped back leaving the others to battle out the minor places.

Rob S was too strong as he continues his return to top form. Phil helped him across the line in 2nd followed by Jeff and Glenn. Ian slapped on some huge power up the hill and was followed across the line by Tony and Ken. The riders following were Paul K, Tom, Seb, Eddie, Dave J, Chris, Frank, Rob H, and Dave P.

All riders agreed the gaps need to be trimmed down for the next handicap training exercise as block and limit have had their chance to dominate the exercise.

Tour of February

A 5 stage Tour Of February was held to encourage riders to take their training up a notch. This included 5 training exercises: prologue ITT, points, scratch, ITT and handicap. Here are the results and podium photos.
